We can’t wait to welcome you to The Sail Loft Dartmouth during this years Dartmouth Food Festival. Having grown from humble beginnings in 2002 into a first class feast of entertainment featuring workshops, seminars, tastings, competitions, demonstrations and over 100 hand-picked exhibitors (many of which are from Devon), the DARTMOUTH FOOD FESTIVAL is the very best that the South West has to offer. Described in The Telegraph as a ‘heady mix of celebrity chefs, parties, food markets, tasting shacks and demonstrations’, the festival is now a landmark event on the culinary calendar. It is a free festival. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along and take part without being charged an entry fee. We are proud to be hosting the Dartmouth Food Festival Supporters Reception (by invitation only) on Tuesday 18th October. We are then open as normal at 5pm on Thursday 20th October and Friday 21st October with Burgers & Pizzas being served from 6pm-9pm. On Saturday 22nd October our doors will be open from 1pm. Although it’s Food Festival we won’t be serving any food on Saturday, as with all the many wonderful food outlets around town we’ve decided to entertain you instead! The fabulous Jimmy Balito from The Voice UK returns to The Sail Loft and will be playing 2 sets from 6-7pm and again at 9-10pm. Jimmy is a songwriter who plays piano and sings with a natural and effortless beauty that makes listeners fall in love with his music. His talent is unique, he sings with truth and honesty, and has an ability to make every second count. Jimmy finished 3rd on The Voice UK in 2019 and BBC Introducing have described him as a ‘Highly anticipated breakthrough artist...’ . So join us for a night of music drinking and dancing! Definitely one not to be missed! Finally, on Sunday 23rd October we will be open from 1pm-9pm! Again, no food, so have a good wander around the fabulous festival, fill up on delicious food, and then join us to sit back, relax and have a few drinks. Our fire will be lit!
