Now it is November, Trees are nearly bare; Red and gold and brown leaves Scatter everywhere. Dark now, are the mornings Cold and frosty too; Damp and misty evenings Chill us through and through. But fear not, The Sail Loft has so much going on this November to keep us happy & uplifted now that the nights are drawing in, starting this Thursday 2nd November when our popular STEAK NIGHT returns to The Sail Loft. We will have 4 Thursday Night Steak Nights, on the 2nd, 9th, 16th & 30th November and booking in advance is ESSENTIAL.. The Menu is £28 per person & includes the following:- Appetizer of Home-made Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia with Marinated Olives 8oz Sirloin Steak, Fries, Onion Rings & Salad with a choice of Chimichurri or Peppercorn Sauce OR Cauliflower Steak, Cauliflower Puree, Crispy Sage, Fries, Onion Rings & Salad with Chimichurri Sauce Friday 3rd November is the return of LIVE MUSIC FRIDAYS! Our favourite party band "Lost Natives" are back for another lively evening at the Loft. Saturday 4th November is your last chance to enjoy our Pizza, Baskets & Burger Menu before our GUEST CHEFS arrive! Thursday 9th November is our 2nd STEAK NIGHT, and we have more LIVE MUSIC on Friday 10th November for Chilled Acoustic Tunes with a Twist of Rhythm and Groove with the Fabulous Rob Hunt, and on Saturday 11th November we have the first of 3 GUEST CHEF NIGHTS. The fabulous team of Dan & Charlie of The Cellar Door return with their delicious CURRY NIGHT. Menu - £30 per person TO START Poppadoms, Raita, Kachumba Salad, Mango Chutney Vegetable Samosa Tandoori Lamb Kebab MAIN Garlic Chilli Chicken Goan Fish Curry Roasted cauliflower and spinach Dahl Fragrant Rice Homemade Garlic & Coriander Naan PETIT FOUR Mango Kulfi, Pistachio & Pine Nut Crumb Thursday 16th November is STEAK NIGHT again, and on Friday 17th November young talent, Milo Griffiths returns to The Sail Loft. Milo is an 18 year old songwriter from South Devon and he will be playing Acoustic original music, alongside reshaped covers of classic songs. Our GUEST CHEFS on Saturday 18th November are Michael & Eva from Greek Delight Dartmouth in the Market Square who are bringing their wonderful food to The Sail Loft. MENU - £22.50 per person Olives, Homemade Humous, Homemade Tzatziki Sauce, Grilled Ciabatta with Extra Olive Oil followed by Merida Mix - Pork Skewers & Chicken served on a Pitta Bread with Tzatziki Sauce, Chips & Greek Salad or Vegetarian Merida - Grilled Halloumi served on a Pitta Bread with Tzatziki Sauce, Chips & Greek Salad Saturday 25th November is our final guest chef night, and we are thrilled that our GUEST CHEF will be Jake Bridgwood.. Jake has been cooking for 18 years, with over a decade of experience at Mitch Tonk’s award winning Seahorse Restaurant, formerly as the Head Chef. Throughout his career, Jake has been very fortunate to have worked alongside some of the industry greats - Angela Hartnett, Mark Hix, Henry Harris, Matt Tebbutt and more - and to have collaborated in Italy and Spain with the incredible Al Gato Nero in Venice, Dario Cecchini the Tuscan butcher and Cal I’ilsidre in Barcelona. Jake’s culinary style is led by seasonal ingredients and characterised by its simplicity, with Italian and Mediterranean influences. Now starting out on his own, nervous but excited for the new opportunities ahead! MENU - £55 per person Focaccia & Whipped Cod's Roe with Pickled Cucumber **** Red Mullet Escabeche **** Risotto Bianco with Veal Ragu **** Devon Ruby Red Short Rib braised in Barolo Wine with Fried Polenta **** Fior di Latte Panna Cotta with Quince & Port Monday 27th November is our The Sail Loft Christmas Market from 5pm-9pm. with 14 local sellers with Drinks & Mince pies available.. The perfect place to do some Christmas shopping and support local independent businesses! More details to follow soon! Finally, Friday 1st December we are excited to announce we will be holding our annual APRES SKI PARTY once again, with LIVE MUSIC from the talented Giles Nuttall. It is definitely a night not to be missed..

 We are so excited that the Dartmouth Food Festival is once again nearly upon us. A heady mix of celebrity chefs, parties, food markets, tasting shacks and demonstrations, the festival is now a landmark event on the culinary calendar, and even better, it is a free festival.
We are very proud to be hosting the Dartmouth Food Festival Sponsors Party at The Sail Loft Dartmouth for over 100 guests, what a brilliant way to start the week and we have so much planned for this weekend! Our Winter Menu is being served on Thursday 19th & Friday 20th from 5-9pm so why not get a group together and book a table in our 1st Floor LOUNGE, then there will be more Rugby World Cup action and the 1st Rugby World Cup 2023 - SEMI FINAL - Argentina vs New Zealand will be shown on our big screen at 8pm. On Saturday 21st our doors open from 1pm and we will have LIVE MUSIC in the afternoon from 5.30pm with a new young talent Milo Grittiths, who will be playing some original Acousitc Music as well as reshaped covers of Classic Songs! The Rugby World Cup 2023 - SEMI FINAL - England vs South Africa will then be on our BIG SCREEN at 8pm. (sorry no food). Finally on Sunday 22nd we are hosting the Dartmouth Food Festival Chef's Panel followed by our The Cellar Door - BOTTOMLESS LUNCH!! from 1.30pm-3pm. Make sure you book your tickets online today!
