Wow, what a summer that has been! Since we opened our doors 3 months ago it has been go go go!
We opened our ground floor BAR & Courtyard on 28th May 2021 4 days a week and quickly realised that we would need to rethink that!
Our 1st floor LOUNGE area then opened a month later, and we moved to 7 days a week to keep up with demand!
Finally our KITCHEN opened a month ago serving delicious Pizzas & Nibbles 4 days a week.
With summer now drawing to a close and autumn is most definitely in the air, we are changing our hours a little to give ourselves a little more work life balance for a bit.
From Monday 6th September we will be opening 5 days a week from Thursday through to Monday from 5pm to 10pm.
We will be serving food - our Pizza & Nibbles Menu - 3 days a week on Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays from 5pm to 9pm.
Thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at The Sail Loft Dartmouth very soon.
Rupert & Sarah
When we opened at the end of May we said we’d be an evolving business - well we’ve certainly evolved! First the BAR, then the LOUNGE and now we are very excited to say our KITCHEN is open for food on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm-9pm.
No posh table cloths, plates or cutlery just lots of delicious nibbles and pizzas served from cardboard boxes in our usual rustic way!
So pop along to try The Sail Loft food, no need to book.
We hope to see you soon.
Rupert, Sarah & The Sail Loft Crew
It is FINALLY Freedom Day and we are very excited to announce that we will now be open 7 days a week for the summer holidays.
Our hours will be Monday to Saturday 3pm-10pm, Sunday 2pm-9pm.
We will continue with our meet, greet, seat and table service system and just a reminder that we DO NOT take reservations.
Masks are no longer compulsory, we will leave it to your discretion as to whether you wear one, but we do ask you to continue using our hand sanitiser, and please socially distance from other groups.
So please pop along to our beautiful bar any day of the week - we have plenty of tables inside and outside in our sunny courtyard.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Rupert, Sarah and The Sail Loft Crew
As Freedom day has been postponed, we’ve decided to launch what you’ve all been asking for, “The Lounge”!
Our 1st floor LOUNGE area is a relaxed chilled area for you to drink and be merry with family and friends.
We’ve got a Lounge drinks menu of all our favourites ready for you so come sit back and relax and we’ll look after you.
Like the rest of The Sail Loft, we are NOT taking any reservations.
Tables will be allocated on a first come first served basis but don't worry we have lots of tables and lots of space.
Please be advised that we don’t allow dogs or pints in the first floor "Lounge" - both are a bit tricky with the stairs!
Opening weekly Wednesday toSaturday from 3pm and from midday on Sundays.
Rupert & Sarah
Interiors and merchandise are Sarah’s passion so she has been busy designing and developing a range of exclusive Sail Loft merchandise for you to purchase on your next visit to The Sail Loft Dartmouth.
She has combined her love of all bags, sail cloth and of course the fabulous Sail Loft Logo (thank you Laura Woussen Design ) to come up with a unique range of sail cloth bags. All of their bags are made from recycled sail cloth and Sarah has even managed to get her hands on an America’s Cup sail used by Land Rover in their 35th America’s cup! Sailcloth has its own characteristics and imperfections that add to the overall look and style. There are 5 bags in the range and every bag is cut from a different section of the sail making them completely unique.
The Sail Loft wine bottle bag - £20
The Sail Loft wine cooler bag - £30
The Sail Loft limited edition America’s Cup wine cooler bag - £35
The Sail Loft tote to boat - £40
The Sail Loft Big tote to boat - £45
